This piece is an indirect response to an artist's existential dilema.

As of this post, or recently prior, they neither enjoy their creative process nor the final output. While these are important to address, there's a deeper aspect of self expression that I value at least as much as the former.

This is my answer to the question, "Why create art?"

out there still waiting to be explored

There is value in each tree of a forest
Each note in song reveals intent and worth
Where passion and purpose entwine
In that special place you'll find
Messages reaching past the ends of the earth

I have visions of the lives I may have known
Memories of the world to come withal
Oh I cherish unparalleled beauty
alongside unbearable cruelty
I must capture and convey it all
